A local company was going to charge $95 to come look at it.
The video and diagrams helped me a ton.
I was able to replace this cord myself. Had to do it the semi hard way. I was able to connect the new cord to old (I used an electric crimp connector to make it even more secure) but the old one had frayed and bulked up too much too much so got stuck in bends. I ended up taking the 2 pieces apart where it needed to be guided through and it was fine.
Very gratifying to be able to do it myself.
Nick didn’t recommend replacing the other cord, and it doesn’t seem to be needed yet indeed.
All works great again.
